From my personal experience, there is a vacuum of reliable information regarding estate sale companies, so there’s a lot of luck involved (unless you personally know someone who has gone through this – with similar property)…

Fortunately, I found Shannon and her staff.  Right from the start, I was very comfortable with Shannon… confident, calm, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to the task at hand (see her own story).  As the process unfolded, it became clear that she “had people” to reach out to, to ensure that the various items would be handled properly (i.e. presented to the best audience, for the best return).

Once the specialty items were identified and handled, next came the sale.  Her and her staff did a fantastic job transforming a few rooms into a “store”, artfully displaying the items for sale… and the results were fantastic!

Dear Asset and Estate Liquidators team,

 Let it be known that our expectations were totally exceeded! When we asked the Asset and Estate Liquidators team to help us sell the contents of a house packed with 30 years of furniture, hobbies, exercise equipment, dishes, cowboy apparel, electronics, tools and numerous other stuff, we really didn’t know how the process worked and if an estate sale would work for us.

 Immediately, Shannon and her team set to work snapping pictures, updating newsletters, and pricing the numerous items. The team researched each and every item and provided realistic prices. For one non-descript wooden box, they researched based on a name stamped on the box, and provided a one page document identifying the item as having been built in the 1800’s. We had hundreds of items, and everything was tagged with a price. This was completed over the course of several afternoons.

 On the day of the estate sale we were away from the house but all the neighbors had nothing but rave reviews at the professionalism shown by the team. The team had placed ads in newspapers and on the web, as well as joining forums to find out more about certain items, and this activity accounted for a lot of the foot traffic. When my husband and I returned home we were in a state of shock as to how much had been sold. We had included our bedroom set but didn’t really expect it to be sold, but guess what, we are now camping out in the bedroom.

 So, thanks again to Shannon and her Asset and Estate Liquidators team. Without your hard work, organizational skills, positive attitudes, and professionalism, we would never be this close to moving into our new home.

Please accept my sincere thanks for the professionalism and kindness you and your staff have shown me in my recent estate liquidation and move from Rye, NH.  All of your hard work enabled me to complete the enormous task of emptying a huge 3-story barn and 8 room home efficiently and without problems. 
Your alliance with Habitat for Humanity made this emotional undertaking of disposing of my late husband’s workshop and tools less painful. He would have loved that his wood and tools have gone on to help young entrepreneurs and those less fortunate that will be helped by our furnishings.  Further, the monies received will go into a scholarship in his name to assist a young student to further a career in the trades. 
Although I lost my spouse and dearest friend, many others have gained the ability to start a business, to achieve home ownership, to get an education, and on and on.  You have helped me to “pay it forward”, and I could not have done it without you, Andrea and your caring and competent staff.
